KIP Diagnostics software Ver. 1.0.2
I'm having no luck whatsoever connecting. I'm using a laptop and a USB to Serial cable hooked up to a NULL modem cable.
I've tried different com ports etc. = no luck
I went out and bought a PCM CIA Slot serial card and installed the driver for it. (it's running fine according to the device manager). STill no luck connecting.
Does anyone here know how to use this Diagnostic tool? I've only used it twice before and it seemed to work fine. Maybe my laptop is messed up too much?

I have the same problem with my lap top. To over come this i use my docking station which has a serial port and this works well with a standard null modem serial cable. Our IT could not get the usb to serial null modem to work either .
