Does anyone know a way to retrieve the accounting data from an HP Pagewide 8000 automatically?
We have been able to do this on the KIPs, but I would like to be able to do so on the HP as well.
I have tried to post on the pagewide forum, but it says that my post requires moderation and it never has been posted, so I thought maybe I could try here. |

I figured it out finally (so simple, yet to get it took so much).
The URL to the Excel file always remains the same, so you can get it by doing either of the following:
This one will download with information about how much of each color is used, but you do need to change the time stamp every time:
http://<<Machine IP Address>>/hp/device/webAccess/accounting.xls?timestamp=02032016043813126&cost=y
This one is always the same, but just tells the total ink use, not how much of each color was used:
http:// <<Machine IP Address>>/hp/device/webAccess/accounting.xls |
