So, I finally get the thing printing and discover any scan or copy has a lot of very small dots all over it. I am going out to run the scanner utility Monday but figured I would ask and see if anyone has seen problems like this.

i've noticed the same problem with the 4 machines I've set up. Running a white balance, adjusting densities and clicking on the despeckle icon on the touch screen does nothing to improve this problem. They all seem to print just fine, but there is something wrong in the scan/copy area.

I would suggest you to adjust the print quality as "Quality" instead of normal.

Just to see if this issue has changed lately. Moving to quality setting is the only thing that makes is manageable. I hoped the scanner firmware released this month may make a difference but it doesn't. Running a white balance 3 times changed nothing.
