"Device Speed Low"

Will not print.

Has anyone seen this error on a KIP 800?

Yes many times.

KIP has a TB on this issue that just tells you to confirm the cable is plugged into a blue USB3 ports. If the machine is not a brand new install then this is not the issue.

1) Reboot
2) Swap USB3 Ports on SystemK Controller
3) Replace USB 3 cable from SystemK controller to DC Controller
4) Replace DC Controller
5) Reimage SystemK Controller
6) Replace SystemK Controller

KIP will also say to make sure you are running the most current version software and firmware

I also turn off the suspend HD setting in PrintPro.net

The only thing I have seen that makes this issue better is turning off the suspend. I have had many issue with this problem and generally
replace everything and turn off the suspend and the issue will go away for a bit, but it generally comes back from time to time.
You might also see the keycodes disappearing. Both issues seems to occur around the same time.

Speaking to the man I'm the only one that has ever had this issue and they are not able to duplicate it.

I have no way of proving why this issue is happening, but it seems to me that when the SystemK Controller goes into a sleep mode, when it wakes back up it is not connecting with the DC controller properly. Thus causing the Device Speed Slow Error.
