We've been using the free version of Kip's Color Express STF with our 2300's. The decision was made to install CE on a Win 10 computer and it's not going well. The software installs as it should but a few days later things change. Double clicking on the shortcut starts CE and within seconds the program shuts down. Trying to Run as Admin doesn't help, running the exe from the CE folder doesn't help. Compatability mode, enabling the security settings for all users doesn't make any difference. Doing a full uninstall and reinstall allows us to use the software for a few days then the the problem reoccurs. I know CE was never written to run on Win 10, checking to see if any of you have been able to solve this issue.

Mark,
Have you tried hooking the scanner up to either ImagePro or PrintPro and see if you can scan through either of those applictions? |

No, didn't do that. I did find a post under 2300 scanner suggesting Image Pro and the newer driver on KIPs site. I will continue with this on Monday, production hates it when I change things late in the day knowing I won't be here Friday......Bunch of big babies............
