Hi everybody,
I am getting a 10501 error code. The scanner will come on but never gets to where you hear it running the rollers etc... It will code out. So, we press the start button and it does it again. Eventually it comes up and works fine. It seems like a capacitor is not holding enough voltage to get it going until you keep pressing the start button. I noticed the 100uf 450V cap looked very slight rounded at the top. Is it possible that this cap is causing the problem by not supplying full voltage to get it going?
Thanks,
David |

Any cap that exhibits swelling is suspect. If it's not hard to get to I'd replace it. _________________ Regards,
