Our KIP 7570 has been throwing up this code at random intervals over the past several months. Usually, they can be exorcised by power cycling it. If not, then pulling the plug for a bit and then turning it back on will do it. When that wouldn't even work, or it was failing on every print job, we got our service tech in to replace the corona unit and do a bit of cleaning.
We're a steel shop, so even the office isn't the cleanest environment, but our previous KIP 4000, 5000 and OCE TDS600 weren't THIS finicky, though the KIPs usually needed constant care for other reasons...
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue? Much more, and people might start pushing for me to move back to OCE, and the local service provider for them is absolute garbage to deal with. |

Tell your tech to raise the corona height by 1 or 2 mm from the bottom of the transfer unit, it helped sometimes. |
