When you load paper into roll 3 and shut the drawer, the Kip goes through the motions and shows that the paper is loaded and everything is okay. If you open the drawer, the paper is loaded but there is a big loop of paper on that roll. All of the other rolls are tightly wound after loading a roll. I can move the different size rolls and their spindle around to different roll positions. Roll 3 always unspools some extra paper after it loads. The spool brake feels correct to me.
