Hey guys,

I have a customer who has been getting E-0070 every two to three pages. When the machine first boots up for the day, it will run 8-10 pages just fine, and then begins to error out. It always throws the error right after it cuts the paper. I know the E0070 is a developer error, but something is telling me this isn't actually developer related. Have any of you had machines that start throwing this error, and had a fix be something other than the developer? If so, what solved the issue?

Check all the side switchs of the toner door for a good contact, also, there is a bulletin for that, there is an adjustment when you close the upper unit.

Yes, there is a Tech Tip - K134-017 (RE: Troubleshooting E-070 Error Code).

thanks for the info guys, I just got back from the customer and that seemed to take care of it. I bent the metal tabs so there was more pressure on the switch when the door was closed. Problem seemed to be solved.
