I've got an 880 out in the field that over the past couple of days has developed a clicking sound coming from the K developer. I've already swapped the motor with another unit to rule it out and the problem didn't follow it. Just wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with anything like this on these developers before.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

So as it turns out the issue was coming from the 24T Helical gear on the non drive side. Something caused it to bind up to the point where the post that holds the gear was broken off of the housing.

After I replaced the dev unit, I ended up getting the same E-0336 error code. I re-calibrated the density settings and the error has never come back. Hope that helps with your issue!

Cheers

I also ran into a clicking sound coming from the K dev unit. My issue was a broken belt on the dev unit.
