Hi all
Im having issues with what looks like the fuser binding up, now this is intermittent i can run 100s through and it eventually makes a loud humming sound then jams ( stacker jam) or sometimes i can only get 5 out and it jams, ive lubed the gears, tech support suggests the new motor mod kit, which is on its way but not for a few more days customer is freaking out. is there anything else that maybe causing this issue or something i can do in the meantime? thanks in advance |

Mine has done done that also. You may check the fuser web, also the stacker can cause this issue. On 1 of mine the plastic brackets that hold the web were cracked and broken, and they are a bitch to change. The new fuser motor you are getting I assume is the 920 motor. you will need the latest firmware for it to run. Even after I put mit in it does still do the hum and stops. |
