We have a KIP 9900 with around 2 million square feet, that is putting out completely blank prints every other set, it does not matter if it is 1 sheet in the set or 100, if you print one page between sets it will print blank, then the next set is fine, if you forget to print one between the sets the whole second set will be blank. The prints look great when it is working. We cannot find anything wrong with the printer. Kip tells us to replace part after part with no change. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Your transfer separation cortron block could be shorting out. I had to replace one a short time ago but all my prints were blank. I'm referring to the block the unit slides into. Part number is 7706400432 Tr Connection Block.

@kipman Did you ever figure this problem out? I'm having the same issue. I have to print out at least one page in order to get the next set to print. Or if I put it on configuration for a little bit first, then the sheets will start printing out ok...it's like it's starting to print before all the info gets there. Thanks!

It's look like a software problem to me, did you try different way of printing ? Win driver/Print/Print Net/USB/local print ?

Is your unattend / Pscript / softs are up to date ?

This is happening whether I use Request or the Windows driver or if I send from different computers. If it starts printing blank and I hit "configuration" to pause it and then turn configuration off, it usually starts printing fine then. Sooo weird Rolling Eyes

This might be totally off base but check the Cam and sensor that pushes the dev unit forward. I've seen flaky sensors that would not initiate the cam motor to push the dev unit forward and this would create blank prints also.
