Hello I have a 2100 that will not scan in bw but will scan in colorwhat happens is:
-insert original
-touchscreen acts likes its about to show me the scan.
-touchscreen begins to flash from preview to scan screen.
-original never moves from home position.
Hope this makes sense.
I pull the IF board out and tried in another machine and it worked in there just fine.Just nt sure which board wold be next.
When we switch to color mode it scans just fine.

You might try setting up a different computer for it. To make sure it is not a glitch in the driver/software.
