I removed the charge corona, and re-strung the 2 charge wires. I cleaned the grid with water. It looked like the center of the grid was lightly rubbing on something. You could see like a lightly polished marking along tyhe center section of the grid and about 6 inches on either side of horizontal center. I put the machine back together and it ran prints yesterday. I did notice a haze buildup on the drum, but did not have time to clean it yesterday. Today, I removed the process unit scrubbed the drum down with alcohol after taking a soft cloth and wiping all of the loose toner from the drum. Now, after re-assembling everything I am at a E51 8 error. I know that the SM says a faulty HV Bias supply, but is there anything I could have put back together wrong. I vacuumed the cleaning roller and have also tried running without the cleaning roller. I have had the developer and process assy out one other time to clean a similar haze from the drum without any problems. Any suggestions?

Thank You
Alan

Self inflicted injury. Somehow one of the compression springs in one of the electrode holders on the process frame came out. Made one and now it it works.
