We've been having a long term issue with our TDS700 throwing an 25001 error. Almost always (99.9% of the time) when running a 24X36 sheets (from a 36" wide roll). Once in a great while it will throw a 22506 after. We have seen the error once or twice near the end of a 30" roll when printing 30x42, but this is extremely rare.

Our incoming voltage is showing pretty consistently 122.6V at the receptacle and is on a dedicated circuit, so power should be clean?

We haven't fully dug into troubleshooting per the OCE service manual (as they start with, operator's fault due to shutting off machine, then you go to "replace printhead" or "reimage controller"). Printhead would probably cost more than a used machine, we did recently re-up the controller as the HDD had died in it, sounds like it's impossible to get a new motherboard for our controller at this point also).

With that, anybody seen this, and if so, any out of the box fixes?

Those MB's were available on Ebay at one time. Check the caps for swelling. It's been a while but I think 22000's were related to static discharge.

Thanks for the advice...we decided it was more cost effective to buy a more dependable / standard PC with suitable specs (only $100) and replace the controller. The only downfall is that it doesn't fit into the machine. Small price to pay. Works great!
