Don't put too much pressure on the toner bottle when moving the green tab. The pressure pushes down on the slider cover and depending on how much pressure you put on the toner bottle, it will make it hard to slide over. Also, make sure that the green slider is all the way closed or it will be hard to remove the toner bottle. In saying this, I would check the path that the slider cover "slides" on. There could be toner residue on it, making it hard to slide back and forth and also check where the slider sits, in "home position". There might be toner or some other obstruction that is making it not properly sit in home position to make it easy to remove the bottle.
Or see if the customer fully understands how to load toner. I have a PW350, where the customer manages to get toner everywhere, even inside the printer, on that side of the machine, even though it such a simple and clean process to add toner. I show them the proper (clean) way to add toner and they say they know how too, but still manage to get toner everywhere. |

Thanx CHILLIN.......The 770 reminds me of 1880's, a product I disliked intensely. Customer requested this printer and only this printer.
dlee, I think I'll advise the customer to call me the first time toner is needed, I'd rather they not fight it. _________________ Regards,
