Has anyone figured out a trick to get the System K models to automatically trim the new roll when it runs out during a job and you swap in a new one?

The behavior I'm seeing is this:

-rolls runs out during a job
-prompts on screen to replace it "Please insert bond of 36" in any feeder"
-change out roll
-press scissor button; nothing happens
-press OK
-job continues, but the first sheet has the rough cut of the new roll/manual blade trim
-can use the scissor trim button after the job, and it does respond

pq,

Here the response I got from Kmart.

Basically, be patient.

Add the new roll.
Let the system detect it and comd to ready while the Media screen is up on the UI. Don't hit Trim just yet.
When it becomes ready, THEN hit trim and wait.

There were some issues related to this that have been improved in upcoming versions but as long as you're patient it will work in its present form.
