When the printer is switched on the display has a message "no signal, going to sleep" for a few seconds and then goes blank, at the same time I hear a loud click (I assume that's a 115v relay cutting the power to the display). None of the fans on the embedded controller are moving, but the printer is trying to initialize, I can here the fuser motor running and see the lamps lighting.
I checked the 115v power line to the EC and it is getting power. Any other suggestions would help, thanks. |

You can check the fuse on the board behind the the metal cover to the right of the controller. Also check the power supply on the controller. I've had several of those go bad. Also check the capacitors of the controller. The swell and leak causing the controller to fail. _________________ I'll have a tech give you a call shortly. |
