Hi everybody,
I am changing the pressure roller hole cleaner in a TDS800. I know how to enter sds mode on the computer but that is all. Can you tell me how to change the value of the pressure roller hole cleaner and what value should I use. I usually put 100 when I change them in a 9800.
thanks for your help.
David

The procedure for any roller swap should be as follows.

1) Physically replace the roller.
2) Run the Pressure Torque Adjustment
3) Reset the Consumable Count to ZERO
4) Run the Blank Sheet Test

In case of replacement of any of the HOLE Cleaners you need to run the Blank Sheet test. This will trigger "dosing" of the roller.

We recommend after the machine "doses" once that you go back to the consumable count and set it to ZERO again even if it still shows ZERO. This will trigger another "dosing" when you run the Blank Test Sheet again. So yes run the Blank Test Sheet again for the 2nd dosing.

After this you are done.

If you know how to enter into an SDS Session then you will need to go to the 06 CTF section to perform step 2 and 3. The sub menus will have the adjustment and consumable counts your looking for.

Section 40+ should have the Blank Sheet Test. I can't remember which number it is.

Once done end SDS and your good.

Hey James,
It's David again. This question was so I could replace the roller for our other office. I guess I am all over the place lately. Thanks for the help. I will print this out.
