I heard there is a new Kip color model coming out this fall. This new model is suppose to be lower priced. Anyone have information about this? Model #, price, etc.

850 2 roll color printer
860 2 roll color printer with scanner
870 4 roll color printer
880 4 roll color printer with scanner
My guess is it will be announced at the Graph Expo 15 show in Chicago September 13-16. |

Saw them at Graph Expo, real nice machine.
KIP is going to sell a lot of these.
Basically they just adopted small format copy tech into a large format printer.
One of the techs at the show said it is going to be the easiest KIP printer to work on. |

My understanding is there is one print engine at 8 D/min, and then you pick 2 rolls or 4, and 720/2300 scanner. Corret?
I've only seen a photo or two. How did they get them so compact compared to the 80/7800/940?
Op cost similar to 940? |

| I have seen the machines and it will be a seller. Even at MSRP they will be very affordable. I think the demand for the 860 will be so big that the 860 will be back ordered for at least the first few months. |
