Has anyone tried to remove a KIP controller and used it on a table or stand to run a 600 scanner removed from a 5000 ips?
I know in the ini file you Can set hardware connect to false but don't know if you can use the scanner for scan to file.
Customer wants to trash the printer but keep the scanner for scan to file. |

I have done it.
I was told it was impossible.
It wasn't easy.
Problem is you have to run the KIP IPS software to use it.
Also the hidden Cursor once you got everything working poses an issue.
It will require expert computer skills and you will need a clone of the hard drive that is in the KIP. _________________ "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." - Benjamin Franklin and John Ruskin |
