Our scanner was working intermittingly, it would take the paper some of the time and other times it would not grab. Also when printing the ink did not set once or twice. All this occurred in one morning. Each time the machine was turned off and then on again it would work properly. It would not scan again and was turned off for >5 min., on again and worked to scan twice then received this message box:
WriteExitFile Dot Dat
Condiiton 70:Permission denied
Condition writing.ExitFile.dat to D:\TU
With OK at bottom
Ok was hit and the machine worked the rest of the day.
Today it is not connected. You turn it on and it hums and a screen comes up immediately"No Response" and then goes black and on the PCU it reads Not Connected. |

With the error you have. You should clean out the TU folder and run a check disk on the drive. I would recommend both partitions but probably only the D drive from looking at your error. You said now it does not appear to power up? take the back cover off and make sure the controller is on. it is possible that the drive crashed and will need to be replaced and then Ghosted. _________________ "If you mess with a thing long enough, It'll break" |
