I get this error message "KC80_color_engine.EXE has stopped working" printing to Kip 7170 with KIP Print.

I click "Close Program" and the error goes away.

That is a very odd error for that printer. Is this happening when you are tagging files to print, or when you are hitting the 'Submit' button for printing?

That kc80_color_engine.exe is the console application that is responsible for converting images to a color image...the 7170 is a monochrome printer, so that shouldn't even be used with this printer.

Maybe you need to run setup again just in case it thinks it's a color printer.
