We just installed a new 7970. It currently has 32000 sq ft. Once a day or so it shows on the screen out of toner. If you open and close the toner door, it will be fine again for a little while. We have replaced the toner sensor in the dev unit. We have replaced the hopper assembly and I just replaced the DC controller. If I run the toner supply program, it won't error out for a few days. I have placed a reference mark on the toner motor. It hasn't moved in six days. I have run the toner motor in operation check and it turns just fine. It also turns during toner supply program. It just never turns during normal operation. IPS software is 8.0.400-06. Firmware is 137X947
Any ideas? |

Have you checked to see what the toner sensor says in the Service Area?
(00e) should be "L" when No Toner. |
