I just upgraded two computers from XP to Windows 7. Software installed with no issue, but now the users are unable to access or view the mailboxes. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? Thank you. |

What version software is running on the KIP? And what version Request did you install on the workstations?
If you hit F5 on the keyboard or refresh in the KIP software can you see the mailboxes?
When you installed the software on the workstations did you right click on the install program and run as administrator and reboot the workstation after installing? |

I have Version 8.0.69 installed. The users are able to see network drives but not the mailboxes. Refresh did not do anything and they have been rebooted. Lastly, I did install as Administrator. |

Software version is 1.3.144. Not sure if this matters but the KIP Queue view is 6.5.0.485. |

Did you download the KIP Print from KIP's website?
It does say that that KIP Print "Requires 7.3 or higher system software."
I don't think version 6.5 and KIP Print 8.0.69 don't communicate correctly with each other. I think the last version to works with the new software (8.0.69) was maybe 7.1 Unattend. I do know that 7.2 Unattend works with the new software.
So you either need to upgrade the KIP 3000/3100 to a newer version software . I think 7.2 is that last supported version of software for the KIP 3000/3100. For this you will need a CD to ghost the KIP IPS (computer) to the new version.
Or and I haven't tried this yet (someone else reading this may know) find the mixed environment patch to run on the KIP IPS and see if that will work.
Or down grade the software on the workstation to Request 7.2 or maybe 7.3. (Request was old version that was replaced by KIP Print) (and you may still need the mixed environment patch to work correctly)
Other than that you could try and use PrintNet to transfer the mailboxes.
Sorry I cant be of more help. Some of this I haven't tried doing before.
I try to keep all the machine and workstation software the same or at least close to the same as possible.
The software you are running has many version in between each other. (7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.5 then 8.0) |

I just looked on another computer and they are running software version 6.5.49 and the mailboxes are working properly. Any idea where I can download that version? |

So it turns out it was the software version. I found version 6.5.49 and I installed it on the two computers and the mailboxes popped right up. Thank you for your suggestions and quick response |
