Is it necessary to install the windows driver first then the Auto Cad driver then the Kip request? |

1. Windows Driver
2. HDI Driver - HDI driver port connect to the Windows Driver. HDI driver is responsible for 'drawing' the image (creating HPGL/2 data) and the Windows driver is responsible for transporting the data to the printer (KIP0 port).
KIP Request/Print is not required if you are printing directly to the printer. Request/Print is necessary if you are batch printing files (PDF, HPGL/2, TIFF) to the printer. |
