I have this version on a controller. I happened to reinstall the software for this. Restore back everything, license, MAC address, etc. Everything is fine now but the SCAN is now popping out, its not in the menu. License for Scan Logic is already in place with the corresponding MAC add and serial #. Usually in version 1.2, restoring back the license and MAC add will bring back everything. But for this version, its not.

Anybody of you got idea what could i have missed? Or what else needs to be done. This is my first time for this version, i deal before with 1.2 only.

Im thinking of downgrading this one back to 1.2. Any thoughts?

Did you upgrade the software? and what do you mean by "popping out" there should be an error code. You should reload the firmware on the scanner rather than downgrade it.

Did you restore the destinations for the scans?
File, open, destinations, restore......under the scan manager tab.

Make sure the license .dat file has been applied also....
