Customer called and said nothing happens when they press scan to file, screen doesn't change. This was working up until yesterday. Of course it has scan option installed.

Printing & copying works fine.

My first thoughts are it needs system software re-loaded?

Any ideas appreciated.

Thank You

Back of touchscreen, at the top, there is a little cover, remove the cover and press the power button to shut it off and then turn it back on.

Confirm that it is only the STF option that is not working. Try to VNC to the IPS and see if you can select the STF with the mouse. I don't know too much about touchscreens but if you were to have a dead spot on the touchscreen right where the STF button is located, you should still be able to select the STF via VNC.

If confirmed that the STF button doesn't work, you might have to reload software because I'm pretty sure, even if you did not have the STF keycodes, you should still be able to STF, but your actual files will have the watermarks across it.
