Hey guys:

I have a customer with a Z6100 that has had a sporadic problem with error code 47:01, referencing the carraige motor. When I say that I've done everything, it's not much of an exaggeration. I updated firmware, then replaced motor, then replaced main board, then replaced hard drive. It's been a while, and do not remember if the Interconnect board got replaced, but it's possible. has anyone else seen this phenonmenon>

System Error Code 47:01 (or in some cases 47:10 or 47:03 ) indicates that a failure or problem with the starwheel Motor has been detected. You will need to replace the Starwheel motor and be sure you have the latest Firmware installed after to avoid this issue in the future.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I believe the code was 47:10, or could be a 45:10. Being a Z6100, it does not have a starwheel assembly or starwheel motor. I do appreciate your input, however.

Have you replaced the encoder strip? They can get pretty dirty and cleaning them to aggressively will remove the lines the encoder needs to read.
