We have 24" paper in one roll, not 22" paper. If we send an ANSI C (22"x17") print to the plotter, is there a setting we can change to force it to print on 24" paper? The plotter just sits there with a notification to load 17" or 22" paper.

| In my experience if you send the file as an Arch C (18x24) the image should maintain its original scale and just be printed on a larger sheet of paper |

Yes, you'll have to do what cezwhat said. If you have it set to "exact", it'll only look for the exact paper size. If you set it to "closest" it'll print it on any available size.
Here's a quick cheat if you cannot do what cezwhat said to do or if you are not authorized or for whatever reason. Just open up the paper drawer and when you close it again, it'll ask you to confirm paper size. Just select 22" instead of the 24". I do not recommend that you leave it like that, this is more for if you cannot change the settings and you walk up to the printer and it's asking for 22". This is for my customers that prefer to leave the paper setting to "exact".
Here is something to consider when selecting between "exact" and "closest". If you have it set to "closest", the printer will use the closest paper size that is in the printer. For example, if you are printing a 30x42 and run out of 30" paper, it'll automatically switch to the next closest roll, which most people usually have a 36" roll. Some customers don't want it to jump to a larger size in mid set so they leave it at "exact". This would be when the quick cheat above comes in handy if you get odd sizes that keeps asking for a size you do not have. JUST DON"T FORGET TO SWITCH IT BACK TO THE CORRECT SIZE ONCE YOU ARE DONE PRINTING.

| One thing that would be great is Kip just add a "force roll" button in the queue screen. So if the machine ask for 17X22 (with exact configuration) and just have 24" roll, the customer could "force" it to print on the 24" roll. |
