Things you can start with...
T/S wires
Turn off dehumidifiers in the winter
Fuser Entrance guide, adjusting up and down
Adjust fuser speeds |

CJ is correct as usual, but the easiest and most common issue that can cause this is a worn pressure roller. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |

Resurrecting this one....
We're having a similar issue with a void near the TE of 30x42 sheets. Cleaned wires (not sure on their mileage), relatively new end blocks on T/S assy, have about 1M sqft on dev and drum, installed new pressure roller and reduced fuser speed. Still having the issue on longer sheets. 24x36 sheets are flawless.
Additionally, we are seeing occasional wrinkling (along the 42" direction) near the center of the 2nd half of the sheets.
Thoughts? |

Ok, for good measure replaced the T/S wires, end blocks looked good, but maybe a hint of oxidation on the plastic, but barely noticeable - seen much worse.
Void and wrinkling are still happening, transport issue? Belts into the fuser section are looking pretty old. |

Have you tried to speed up the fuser motor? If I recall, I had to speed one up to get rid of the void. |

Thanks Doc & James for the tips. We did increase the fuser speed AND dug into a new palette of paper. Problem fixed.
Paper may be suspect as we had a few days of 35 deg and raining, then immediately dropped to -20, so humidity fluctuations maybe a factor....or the faster fuser speed.
Thanks again all!
