I have a new KIP 3000 install and it plots and scans fine. When I make a copy, the image shifts up about .5". I tried to adjust the feed distance with the K105 utility, but I get an error whenever I hit "scan". Maybe I have an old version (0.93) of K105 or . . .

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Vincent

You must have high speed USB2.0 capability to use the utility. I had to go buy a card for my laptop. It costs around $30.

Have you adjusted your "lead registration for Rolls" via printer service mode? Usually comes set at about 21... I always put mine at 14. Then you can access the Configuration menu in the touch screen. Look at the lead and trail adjustments there. You should be able to dial it in without using the Kip scanner utility.
