Hello,

I'm currently working with one of my co-workers and i have a question regarding Kip Request 7.3.112. I installed the most recent Request from the kipamerica website and every time i open up Request or close down Request i receive this error message:

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

The weird thing is about this error message is that when i click continue, I can still preview my drawing and i can still print to my KIP 7100. It only happens when i open or close Request out. I tried changing security permissions on the IPS folder but the error still comes up. If anyone can help me with what Request is asking for or needs I would greatly appreciate it.

If you are on a Windows OS that has UAC (user access control), you may need to either turn this off (disable) it, or right click the winreq.exe file from within C:/Program Files(x86)/IPS/Request/WinReq.exe and select "Run-as Admin..."

Hey thank you so much for replying. I tried turning off Windows UAC and running as admin and the error message does not pop up when i open it but it pops up still when i try to close out the program. I forgot to mention i'm running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit if that helps trying to solve this. I tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling as administrator then changing security permissions and still the same issue. Any other advice i can try to tackle this?

You can try installing Request 7.2 version. Always as administrator and also open it the first time in administrator.......even if you are administrator !!
