Assuming it's a black case IPS-

Remove the small screws at the top left and right of the rear of the case. Shove the top cover away from you about an inch, lift the cover and you're in.

I have opened the IPS and tested the PS with a tester and found it to be good. I inspected the MoBo and found some "can type capacitors" with tops bulging. I'm assuming the MoBo is shot.

I got no boot up at power up and the cooling fan for the processor did a quick spin and quit.

So it looks like I'm on the hunt for a new Mother Board unless someone has some other ideas.

If you're skillfull with a soldering iron you could replace the blown caps. Some of the tech's here have taken the board to a repair shop to get the caps replaced, the rates didn't sound excessive.
