Hi Guys,

I've got a Kip 700m that started making a clucking noise only when it runs from the roll not from the sheet when printing /copying.

Ps.Its just not laying eggs...

Kip has a TB regarding the belt adjustment and tension that will probably fix this issue. I had a 700 that had the same noise and this fixed it. Sound was coming from the right side.

To those that don't know....

It is actually a Technical Tip # K117-014. It tells you how to adjust the Pick up Area Belt Tension to stop the clicking and it works if you do it right......

I knew a guy in Vietnam that when he couldn't figure out what was causing the fuse to blow on an air data computer would install a 1/4 20 screw in the fuse holder and replace the part that was smoking. I have followed that thought process ever since .....

Beer can tabs work too and are plentiful. If you don't have one just go out to the car and grab a cool one out of the cooler. Smile

I've dated myself for a long time... wait ugh. Why does that just sound wrong?

Maybe Steve can add a new Section. "Unconventional Techniques" but you have to sign a waiver prior to reading and posting.
