I am looking for the windows driver for the Adaptec 2915/2930LP PCI SCSI Controller. All the files i have give the same result. I think this is the last step in getting my scan to file to work.

Please pm me if you can help and I will give you my email address.

If you are trying to install the driver software for the SCSI card on a Win7 PC, it will not work, believe me I've tried and KIP says so also.

6.2

I think all I need is the SCSI driver to get it working. Everything else works as far as I can tell

Check your PMs. I need your email address. But I only have 2930CU driver. It is the same for 6.2 and 6.5. If it is the original card that came with the scanner, you should be OK.

When trying to install the scsi driver, am i supposed to be using the kipscsi4.inf or some other driver file?

still can not get this thing to work :,(

in device manager it should say k-75 beside the scsi driver but it still has the yellow ! and says the type of card that it is.

i have gotten the twain installed and aspi files. as well as all kip software and drivers.

this is the card that came with the scanner as it was only at one other customers office prior to this.

Hmmm..I've never really had a problem installing the drivers on any of my STF PCs. What I'll usually do is run the KIPScan.exe and it pretty much walks me through the install and then at the end it'll install the Twain driver and I'd reboot and be ready to go. I don't recall ever having to individually have to look for the SCSI driver to install. Have you tried uninstalling the Scan software and reinstalling it?

So it was the card. Good that you had another one to swap with. Always glad to help with what I can.
