I spent my Veterans day weekend playing in a charity softball game aginst the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team on Marco Island, Fl.
There are no words to describe the feeling I got playing against these heroes.
I asked their 1st baseman (double leg amputee 20 yrs old) What he remembered about the moment his humvee hit the IED.
he said " I looked down and didn't see anyting from my waist down, I thought SHIT! the truck I just bought is a stick.."
