My client has a KIP 2000 that keeps jamming and getting E-07 errors. About 2 months ago I replaced the cutter and the PCB board that drives it. E-07 went away. Last week I rebuildt the fuser fan because the bearings went out in it. Now the E-07 is back and has jamming along with it. When I arrive a print will be hanging about 6 inches out of the fuser and E-07 is displayed on the screen. I clear the jam, restart the machine, and the E-07 is gone and the machine prints fine. I am unable to re-create this, but have arrived to see it a couple of times. I have determined that somehow, the issue is narrowed down to drawer 2. This issue was only caused with 30” inch paper that was in drawer 2. When they moved the 30” inch to drawer one, the issue remained in the drawer. Now the 36” in drawer 2 is doing this. I went to the client’s office yesterday and swapped the clutches from drawer 2 to drawer 1. I was unable to re-create the problem. My client called me this morning and said the issue remains. Any ideas?

I would check the senors in drawer 2. Sometimes you can get a small sliver of paper in there that moves around and jumps in front of the sensor too.

The other thought is the holder counter roller part # 6601300041 these things break and don't allow the paper to feed properly.
