KIP 2080 (upgraded) scanner running PowerPrint Scan 6.5.1 on XP computer. That had been working fine; until now. When trying to scan it produces "Error: No Local Data" "In ASPI Error: No SCSI adapters found."

Installed WinXPASPIInstall. Reinstalled PowerPrint Scan 6.5.1. Checked the connections & SCSI pins. Still coming-up with the same error message.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have request installed on the same computer try copying all the DLL files out of the request folder and paste them into the scan folder and over write any DLL's with the same name. Reboot and try it again.

I have seen this fix this problem before. Not sure it will fix yours but it's worth a shot.

Good Luck

The SCSI card in the computer was loose. Put it back. Problem resolved.
