This was received through my underground channels on the current situation in Japan regarding KIP.
"We at KIP would like to extend our thanks for your continued support for our KIP Products and Print Systems.
As you know a major earthquake has hit in the north east part of Japan which was followed by a large tsunami in the same region of the country. KIP Corporation in Japan has confirmed that all members of the KIP staff in the corporate facility and factories are safe from the events that occurred last Friday.
After a further assessment of the situation, we have received confirmation that our operations will continue with no disruption to KIP factories in Japan or other countries. Our primary transportation carrier has reported that the shipping ports and airports which we normally use are operating as usual.
We would like to acknowledge that the KIP staff and their families in Japan have made a special mention related to the swift reaction of the U.S. military’s support and how appreciative they are for these actions in their time of need.
We thank you for the warm wishes and the concern you have expressed for Japan’s recovery from this natural disaster. "
Best Regards,
Larry Cappetto
