I have a kip 6000 with a kip 2120 and a kip7000 with a kip2050 is there a way that kip scan can operat both of my scanners? I am allso looking for a way that I could connect one of the scanners to copy to both of the 6000 and 7000?

I don't think you want to go down either road you are asking about.

Im sure some of it is possible, but the amount of time required to set-up is not worth the payoff, not to mention any reliability issues.

You want a workstation to operate kip scan at each machine and get into the habit of scanning to file on the network and then printing with request to any local kip machine. This may seem like an extra step, but you then have the ability to reuse the scans in the future as well as make any adjustments. We operate three printers and only use 1 scanner. From the very beginning we have never used the "copy" function.. Better to scan and print in my opinion especially if you may ever encounter the need to reprint and the originals are not available. We just clean out our working scan directory from time to time to keep the size manageable.

I have things setup here with a 7000 and a 2050 scanner, a 6000 and a 2080 scanner on it, along with a stand alone 5000 (new stlye). Both the 7000 and 6000 have workstations next to them so that either can be used to scan to file and print back with Request or either machine can also be used as a copier/set copier.

In addtion both STF stations have Copymaker on them so if need be copies can be sent to the 5000 or to either 7000 or 6000 if need be.

Just the way I set it all up and works for us. Everyone has their own preferences.
