I am having issues with a KIP 2200 an windows 7 64bit and KIP is telling me they will not support it because it is an end of life issue. It wasn't that ong ago that KIP was still selling these units direct and to dealers was it?

That's correct. KIP stopped making the 2200 and went to the 2100. Now they stopped selling the 2100 and switched to the 2300.

I have not seen any documentation from KIP stating that there was an End Of Life for any of these products.

This is pretty typical, they don't spend any more time on R and D for older equipment. They want you to upgrade to their new products.

Sucks, I know but that is how all big manufacturers work.

True, but even HP provides current divers for the boxes they are selling on their own web site. I could be wrong , I have been before, but KIP just sold a 2200 on their web site in the promo zone.. Did the person that purchased that KIP 2200 expect it to be end of life as KIP offer to sell this unit on their web site not to long ago. I am sure they had a level of expectation with the purchase as to what they coul connect it to..
just a thought
