The copies are coming out with a speckled pattern of toner even when you put a white sheet through. We cleaned the printer thoroughly. It wasn't used for a few months. Could this me the scraper on the drum?

Look at the drum and you will probably see the spots on it. We have been having an issue like that for a while. If you replace the drum and wiper blade it will look good for a bit but seems to come back eventually.

It could be that your cleaning assy or dev assy is "dropping" toner (since I can't see what kind of toner splatter patternis occurring).

If you do have toner spots on the drum, they can be cleaned off with the right cleaner (D-Ink)
