I have a 1880 that is creating a white thin (1/4" thick) ghostly lines from leading edge all the way down to the trailing edge. I am not familiar with this copier, but on the other HDP printers, it would be compared to something blocking the LEDs. There are approx. 5 or 6 lines across a 36" print. Any clues??? |

I would start with the charge corona wire. Basically the analog machine gives the opposite symptoms of the digital machine. _________________ There is nothing more freeing than leaving a "perfectly good airplane" at 10,000 ft, landing safely, and packing up to go do it again! |

I would check to see if there is a build up of Toner on the Exit Fingers. Another thing to check is the toner around the doctor blade ( It sometimes clumps up and causes white lines ) If its missing before the drum, check Charge or the Clumping that was mentioned. If image looks ok on the drum, its in the fuser or the cleaning felt.
Good Luck
