I have a 2100, ran with Production Station, that has recently decided to make black areas a beautiful emerald green. I am not talking about the muddy greenish that RGB scanners usually make black, I mean GREEN.
Nothing has changed hardware or software wise.
I can take an original from a few weeks ago, scan it with the same settings, compare the scan to the older scan and the blacks are green.

Ran shading and K98 white balance with no change.

I have looked through the manual and see no way to calibrate color.
Am I missing something?

Did you clean the mirrors, lamps and both sides of the glass before doing the white balance and shading? If not that may help.

I didn't clean the mirrors, I will try that.
My next step is to replace the lamps.

Yeah, if the lamps are old the could be the cause. Keep us posted.

Good Luck

Cleaning the mirrors helped a lot. Black still shows up a bit green, but nothing like it was.
The mirrors were rather dirty.
I hate it when I go asking questions and wringing my hands when the problem is that I am overlooking the basics!

Thanks,

Scott

I feel your pain...

Glad to hear it helped. Maybe new lamps would help or the white background plate could be worn and showing through the paper??? I sand them down and repaint them.

Thanks for the update.
