My boss has got a phone call from someone with a Kip 1030 and there telling him they need repair the auger spring in the toner hopper is busted I have no parts manual just a service I need someone to give me part number or tell me this machine parts are no longer in proctuction.

The main auger spring in the hopper is Part # 3626A-4 Toner Sender Coil
The big spring that sits on top of it is Part # 3636A-5 Hopper Coil

Not sure if they are still available since they are not listed in the parts manual, but probably still are.

Its the same as an Oce 7000.. jsut for reference... if you have an outlet for those parts.

I’ve worked on a lot of these over the years. I’ve never seen the Toner Spring break but I have seen the Waste Toner Sender Screw come loose several times. This happens when the waste toner backs up for whatever reason and you usually just need to remove the cleaner unit and clean it out and put the spring back together. Unfortunately when this happens the spring usually contacts the drum and damages it.
