The brochure, as far as I can tell, lists the scan speed of the 2100 (KIP 5200 system) but not the 600 scanner? What's the speed difference between the 2 scanners when used on a 5000. (New systems) _________________ Drew S. |

The printer does affect the speed of the scanner. So what ever the speed spec. of the scanner does not change either you pair it with a 9000 or 5000. It is what it is. _________________ Surf is up Brudah! |

Drew, You're right. The marketing info shows the various scan speeds of the 5200 but says nothing about the scan speeds of the 600 scanner. This is what the service manul has in speed of the 600:
The KIP 600 provides quick scan operation (65mm/s in monochrome / grayscale, 22mm/s in color
on 600 dpi). |

Can you tell me the scan speeds for the 2100? _________________ There is nothing more freeing than leaving a "perfectly good airplane" at 10,000 ft, landing safely, and packing up to go do it again! |
