My 8000 was running fine when it started to make a loud noise every time it cut, and then shut down. I found that the gear attached to the plate by the chain was broken from the plate. I had that fixed, but now my prints are never cut to the same length. They are always at least .25-.5" too long and there is way too much leading edge. Please help? Thanks, Jeff |

If your lead edge is varying, it is probably the clutch for the registration roller. _________________ "Learn how to work, Kid" - BTLS |

Make sure the chain is taught and there is still some gap between the coils of the spring. the chain might have been stretched and need a link removed or replaced. |
