My 8000 was running fine when it started to make a loud noise every time it cut, and then shut down. I found that the gear attached to the plate by the chain was broken from the plate. I had that fixed, but now my prints are never cut to the same length. They are always at least .25-.5" too long and there is way too much leading edge. Please help? Thanks, Jeff

If your lead edge is varying, it is probably the clutch for the registration roller.

Make sure the chain is taught and there is still some gap between the coils of the spring. the chain might have been stretched and need a link removed or replaced.
