Does anyone know if when scanning color there is a way to compress files so they are not soo HUGE? I have to reduce file size in Adobe Professional for each scan to make them manageable and that takes forever. Thanks for all and any input.

Not sure if you've figured this out yet or not, but I saw my guys having the same problem as well...24x36 color scans of line drawings turning out 40 & 50 megs. In the Color Max software on the right hand side where you select size & file type & such, click on the icon(with the hand) next to where it says "Fileformat". An options screen will now open. At the top of the options screen you can change Compression Type. Be sure this is set to JPEG! This will change those same file sizes to 3-5 meg files. I hope this helps!
