I remember the old analog Shacoh machines. Then the 1st Digital machine was the KIP 3800 wow that seems so long ago. We just got rid of 2 of them. Donated them to a friend he fixed them up into 1 pretty good machine and they still run. All the KIP machines we have installed exept for the 1030 ( Bruning mistake ) are still running in some fashion or another. People seem to really get their money out of them. I have no problem buying KIP over anything else they have a proven track record bar none. 1030, 1800, 1880, 1900, 2000, 3000, 3100, 3800, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7095, 8000.

Yeah, I remember the old Shacohs. I scraped out one the last RC-920s on the west coast a couple years ago. I kept the original feed table, anyone one who has seen one knows the Formica feed table with the chrome roller. It’s now a display shelf in our showroom. I have a collection of the big Nikon lens from the old Shacohs & Diatos. All of us old timers learned computers the hard way with the KIP 3800 DSS-1 Controllers running DOS. Yeah, I miss the old days, sometimes I get a whiff of ammonia that really brings back the memories!

I got started with Kip as they were developing the 3800 so I haven't worked with anything but their digital products. I have been to every IRGA in the last 15 years except the last one and I think Kip makes the best products.

I am still using a 7095 on a daily basis, we also have a 5000 and a KC-80 and they are all running perfect.
